Wade Zinsmeister Sr

Wade G. Zinsmeister, Sr., 88, husband to the late Helen Zinsmeister, passed away at home on Friday November 25, 2016. He was born to the late Lee and Florence Donnelly Zinsmeister in Louisville on April 11, 1928. He is, also, preceded in death by three siblings.
Wade was a retired switchman for L & N RR, a Navy veteran, and attended Mary Queen of Peace Parish, St. Helen Campus.
He is survived by children Wade Zinsmeister, Jr. (Lori), Elizabeth "Cissy" Shacklette (Steve) Russell Zinsmeister, and Christopher Zinsmeister, along with seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until time of service.
