Vivian L. Philpott, 91, passed away on Friday November 17, 2017 at St. Matthews Care Center.
She was born to Fred and Elizabeth (Clark) Burns in Louisville on October 14, 1926.
She is also preceded in death by siblings Robert Burns and Joyce Pigg.
Vivian worked as a bookkeeper for Jaggers Equipment Company and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Mark Philpott (Susan), along with granddaughter Deirdre Hobart and two great-grandchildren, William and Hunter Hobart.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-7 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Alzheimer's Association, Kaden Tower, 6100 Dutchmans Lane, Suite 401, Louisville, KY 40205-3284.
