Thomas Stanley Bates, Jr., 64, passed away on Wednesday October 25, 2017 at Norton Hosparus Unit.
He was born to Thomas S. and Catherine M. (O'Neil) Bates in Sellersburg, Indiana on February 8, 1953.
Thomas was a self-employed painter.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine (White) Bates along with their children, Winnie O'Rourke (William), Raymond Bates (Bridget), Thomas Bates, and Catherine Freund (William) and 7 grandchildren and a brother, Raymond Bates.
His funeral mass will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at St. John Paul Catholic (St. Joe Parish) in Sellersburg, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 until time of service at the church.
