Terry Lynn McClure

Terry Lynn McClure, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023.  He was born on July 12, 1957, to the late Chester G. and MaryEllen McClure in Gary, Indiana.  

Terry grew up loving the outdoors and could often be found fishing or target shooting. After high school, he proudly served his country in the Marine Corp. and remained a proud Marine his entire life. SEMPER FI.  Terry was a well-established carpenter by trade and loved the fact that he was leaving his mark behind in the world, a lasting memory of him. He enjoyed his time with friends golfing at Bobby Nichols Golf Course. Everyone knew Terry as a diehard UofL Cardinal fan and a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, even though their loses. He enjoyed a cold beer, especially at Wyandotte Tavern with all his buddies. He was a loving and dedicated husband and would do anything for his wife. Terry will be greatly missed.

Surviving Terry is his wife, Denise McClure; his son, Garrett Bridwell; his daughter, Olivia Bridwell; and his grandson, Lincoln Klenk; his sister, Dawn Poggenborg (Bruce); his brother, Christopher McClure (Dawn); along with 9 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces.

Funeral Services for Terry will be held at 3PM on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway with full military rites conducted.  Friends may call on the family from 1PM until 7PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Entombment will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery West.
