Shirley Manning

Shirley Ann Manning, 83, wife to the late James C. Manning, passed away on Wednesday December 25, 2019 at Symphony at Valley Farms.  She was born to the late William H. and Ella Mae (Wills) Phillips in Central City, Kentucky on June 2, 1936.  She is also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Wayne Phillips.

Shirley worked for Jefferson County Clerk’s office, was a member of Highview Baptist Church (Valley Station Campus) where she was part of the Doll Ministry.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Pam Sedoris (Gary), Scott Manning (Sherry), sister Alice Fay Montgomery along with five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 7:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 pm  until time of service.
