Rosalie Virginia Milburns

Rosalie Virginia Milburns, 97, passed away on September 15, 2023. She was born on September 29, 1925, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Andy Blum and Rosa Bauer Blum. Rosalie's passion for numbers led her to pursue a career as a bookkeeper, where she displayed unwavering commitment and precision.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Rosalie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was of the Catholic faith. In her leisure time, she also enjoyed traveling to Tunica to play slots, finding excitement in the thrill of the game.

Rosalie will be dearly missed by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her children, James Walters (Beverly) and Aaron Walters (Cathy); as well as seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She deeply cherished these relationships and always ensured that they were surrounded by love and support.

To honor Rosalie's life and bid farewell, a funeral service will be held at 5PM on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway, with Deacon Gary Fowler officiating.  Friends may call on the family on Tuesday from 1PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
