Ronald Geer

Ron L. Geer, 73, passed away on September 11, 2020 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.  He was born on July 25, 1947 in Louisville, the son of the late Robert and Norma Geer.  Ron loved to fish and even carried the nickname “Catfish”, he enjoyed country music, his AA meetings and spending time with his friends and family.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 23 years Renee, daughter, Dana Geer, son, Danny Geer, sisters, Betty Jean Scoggins and Roseanna Uhl, brothers, Richard Geer, grandchildren, Jessica, Brittney, James, Danielle, Devon, and Dakota, great-grandchildren, Danny, Nicholas, Xavier, Austin, Brandon, Cody, and baby Kira.  Ron also will be missed by his friend and AA sponsor, Don Siebert and his best friend, Dan Pickerell. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Geer Jr., and brother in laws, Michael and Sonny.
