Ronald E. "Pops" Chism

Ronald E. Chism, “Pops”, 84, of Bluffton, SC, passed peacefully Tuesday March 5, 2024. Ron was born on November 4, 1939, to William and Pauline Chism in Louisville, KY. He attended Shawnee High School, was a Navy veteran, spent most of his career in the food and beverage industry as a district and corporate manager, he was an avid golfer, and a fan of both UK and UofL athletics.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carolyn Chism, his daughter, Carol Branch (Austin), 3 grandchildren, Jarrod Branch (Hillary), Ryan Branch (Mackenzie), Meagan Branch, and 2 great grandchildren, Collins, and JJ, his sister Carma Rhodes (Pat), and several loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00, Friday, March 15, 2024, in the funeral home chapel at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216.
