Robert Thomas Sr

Robert H. Thomas, Sr., 85, husband to the late Betty (Towson) Thomas, passed away on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at Norton Hosparus Unit.
He was born to Charlie and Ella (Poteet) Thomas in Hodgenville, KY on January 6, 1933. He is also preceded in death by his son, Charlie Thomas, sister Sue, and brother Kenneth.
Bob was retired from LGE and an Air Force Veteran. He was a member of and a volunteer for ValleyView Church.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Patricia Vernon and niece, Louann Vernon, they were his caregivers for the last 8 years. He is also survived by brother, Bill Thomas, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 6:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 pm until time of service.
