Robert Philpott

Philpott, Robert B. "Bob" PHILPOTT, ROBERT B. "BOB," 85, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2007 at Norton Healthcare Hospital. He was retired from Caldwell Tanks, Inc., an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church, a Sunday School teacher, and a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Marjorie Helen Philpott, his parents, William and Margaret Gay Philpott, and his brothers, Charles and Paul Gay. Survivors include a brother, William "Billy" Philpott; nephew, Tom Gay (Jan); niece, Judy Staples (Glenn) of Jacksonville, FL and many friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 1 8 p.m. Tuesday.
