Ricky E. Simmons, 56, loving husband of Sarah Scott Simmons, passed away Friday April 22, 2016 at Norton's Hosparus Center. He was born to the late William Henry, Jr., and Florence Williams Simmons in Louisville on May 1, 1959.
He is also preceded in death by his brother, Rev. William H. Simmons III.
He was a member of Centennial Olivet Baptist Church and was a machine operator for Frito Lay.
He is survived by his children, Tiara Simmons and Demetrius Simmons, along with sisters, Yolanda Simmons and TiaJuana Simmons, brother, Ronald E. Simmons (Shirley), sister-in-law Wilma Simmons and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
