Richard "Wrong Way" Strong

Richard "Wrong Way" William Strong, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 16th, 2022, at his home.  He was born on September 11, 1940, to the late Arbra and Dorothy (Taylor) Strong in Medford, Massachusetts.

Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Strong; and his children, Arbra Strong, Fannie Strong and Andrew Strong.

He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  Richard worked for and retired from CSX.  He was coined the name "Wrong Way" during his career there as a carman, doing welding and maintenance.  Richard served his country from 1959-1963 in the US NAVY.  He was a simple man and loved his family.  Richard will be sorely missed.

Richard was interred at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery West, 4400 Dixie Highway, privately.
