Raymond Anthony Hibbs

Raymond Anthony Hibbs, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on April 30, 2023.  He was born on December 1, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Lewis Hibbs and Beatrice (Jaggers) Adams.

Raymond was of the Catholic faith and worked laying sod for many years.  He was always a big talker, never meeting a stranger, and enjoyed joking with his family.  Raymond enjoyed playing computer games, but what he loved the most was drinking beer, playing music, and singing karaoke.  He spent almost 40 years with Lillie Worner, making memories with their family and sharing lots of jokes and love.  Raymond will be surely missed by all that knew him.

Preceding Raymond in death was his parents; his brothers, Jesse Wayne Adams and Emmitt Shepherd; and his nephew, Davie Aldredge.

Left to continue on Raymond's jokes are his wife, Lillie Worner; his brothers, Larry Hibbs and Rick Adams; his sister, Mary Sue Aldredge, his step-children, Dennis Hooper and Brenda Mello; his 9 step-grandchildren; 2 step-greatgrandchildren; 4 nieces; 3 nephews; and a host of cousins.

Funeral services will be held for Raymond at 11AM on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway, with Deacon Gary Fowler officiating.  Interment will immediately follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery West and will be private. Friends may call on the family Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 3PM until 7PM at the funeral home.
