Phyllis Tate

Phyllis J. Tate, 77, loving wife to James A. Tate, passed away on Friday April 3, 2020 at Signature Rockford Nursing Home.  She was born to the late Ben A. and Rosa B. (Dozier) Montgomery in Versailles, KY on August 14, 1942.  She is also preceded in death by a son-in-law Eddie Hennessy.

Phyllis retired from General Electric and was a member of Chapel Park Baptist Church.

Besides her husband of 59 years she is survived by their children, Bethany Hennessy, James “Keith” Tate, and Gary Tate (Pam) along with grandchildren, Michael, Rebecca, Katie, Sarah, Hannah, Mark, Ben, 5 great-grandchildren and a brother Noble Montgomery (Kitty).

Visitation and services are limited to immediate family.
