Nellie Towles

Nellie F. Towles, 81, wife to the late Gerald "Jerry" Towles passed away Tuesday October 18, 2016, at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was born to the late James D. and Mary A. Clifton Mitts in Jonesville, KY on February 16, 1935.
Nellie worked as a kindergarten teacher at Kenwood United Methodist Church, was a frequent attendee to Keys Ferry Baptist Church, served on Beechmont Little League Women's Board, and was a bowling coach/secretary for Ken-Bowl Lane Youth League.
She is survived by her children, Donald Towles(Marcia), Ronald Towles (Dianna), Alisia Kellow (Roy) along with grandchildren, Michael Towles, Tara Dadisman, Nick Towles (Angela), Tiffany Keck (Alan) , and 8 great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Makayla, Kristen, Katilyn, Kileigh, Morgan, Olyvia, Oaklee and her sister Judy Langenbach (Paul).
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Monday from 12 till 7 pm and Tuesday from 10 until time of service.
