Mary Theresa Fife, 88, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday September 24, 2017. She was born in Marion County, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Fife, her parents Thomas Hayes and Clara Edna (Harding) Mattingly and 8 siblings.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Theresa (Jim) Cronen and Debby (Danny) Brown. She fought relentlessly for more time with her 5 granddaughters, Angela (Steve) Taylor, Val (Jerry) Penders, Melanie (Chris) French, Lacy Cronen, Emily (Caleb) Brown-Vogelsang and GiGi adored her 5 great grandchildren.
At 88 years old, she was a bourbon shooting, grass cutting, squirrel hunting, gutter cleaning, and unstoppable force. She lived by her faith in God, loved with the deepest parts of her heart and nothing made her happier than time spent laughing and loving with family.
The family wishes to sincerely thank Hosparus of Louisville for their support and care, especially thanking Nurse Kathy and CNA Jamie.
A celebration of her life will be Thursday at 7:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-7 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Hosparus, P. O. Box 35425, Louisville, KY, 40232-9892 or to a charity of your choice.
