Margie Celia Robertson

Margie Celia Robertson, 85, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away on August 5, 2023.  Margie was born on November 3, 1937, in Hardin County, Kentucky, to the late Archie and Sally (Buckley) Deckard.

Margie was an excellent homemaker and took enormous pride in how her home looked, inside and out.  She worked very hard to maintain a clean home and a gorgeous lawn.  She loved to haggle at yard sales and show off her finds.  Margie was an avid traveler and even traveled internationally several times.  She loved her family and enjoyed life, she will be missed by all that knew her.

Preceding Margie in death was her husband, John Robertson; her daughters, Pamela Watson and Patricia King; and her siblings, Janie Bynog, Gladys Frakes, Ailene Wells and Archie Decker, Jr..

Left to cherish Margie's memory is her daughter, Janice McCune; her niece, Ann Self; her grandchildren, Chris Watson, Daniel Watson, Dawn King, Heather McCune, Eric King, Robert King and Ryan McCune; her great-grandchildren, Kelsey Jackson, Noah Talley and Cameron King; and her great-greatgrandchild, William Jackson.

A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway.
