Linda Gail Stengel

Linda Gail Stengel, age 74, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 12, 2022. Linda was born to the late Richard M. Buck and Thelma E. Chester and is preceded in death by her daughter, Tierney “Terri” Barmore.  She was a retired Real Estate Broker and Owner of Stengel Reality.

She was a role model of how to help others, a devoted friend, a solution person, an organizer, a listening ear and sounding board.  She loved listening to music, and her albums (especially Elvis Presley!).  She was not afraid of hard work or to get her hands dirty.  She loved to make old things new again.  She could antique shop for days, and loved to decorate with a very eclectic style. She was a great cook, and loved spending time with friends and family.  

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 39 years, Stanley “Tony” Stengel;  A sister, 3 stepsons; her niece; and great-niece; Julianna Fileppi, nephew; and great-nephew;  along with several cousins, and her beloved dog, Walter.

The family would like to sincerely thank her wonderful caregivers, as well as Hosparus.
