Leroy Martin Sr

Leroy B. Martin, Sr., 84, loving husband to Martha (Davenport) Martin, passed away on Saturday May 5, 2018 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born to Leroy Martin and Bernice Gregory-Martin on March 17, 1934 in Louisville.
Leroy was a draftsman for Metro Louisville government and a member of the Aviation Owners Pilot Association.
Besides his wife of 61 years, he is survived by three sons and their families, Leroy "Lee" B. Martin, Jr. and wife Elizabeth Anne; their daughter Jessica Martin Nelson and step son Chris. Jessica has two children Matix and Cora; Danny Martin and his children Kimberly, Stephany Martin-Guetig, and Katherine; Kevin Martin and his wife Leslee and their son Tyler and daughter Jordan. He will also be missed by his flying buddy, J. P.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-7 pm at the funeral home.
