Lena Brown

Lena F. Brown, 79, wife to the late Melvin Brown, passed away Monday March 20, 2017 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born to the late Riley and Nila Jones Rose in Pineville, KY on January 20, 1938.
She is survived by her children, Alan W. Brown, Belinda F. Brown, Kevin R. Brown, Phillip S. Brown, and Carolyn Barnes (Myron) along with siblings, Charity Middleton (Curt), Tressie Shoemaker, Virgil Rose, David Rose, and Loraine Snow (Harold). She will also be missed by her 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be Saturday at 4:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 2 until time of service on Saturday.
