Kenneth Stevenson

Kenneth R. "Skids" Stevenson, 80, husband to Patricia Owens Stevenson, passed away at home on Wednesday March 7, 2018. He was born to the late Lawrence and Loretta (Maurer) Stevenson on May 22, 1937 in Louisville. He is also preceded in death by siblings, Joe Stevenson, Lawrence "Junie" Stevenson, Jr., and Delores Walker.
Kenneth was a photo engraver for Southern Gravure and a Navy veteran.
Besides his wife of 32 years, he is survived by children; Janna Corbin (Frank), Keith Stevenson (Shelly), Jennifer Hart (Timothy), Kyle Stevenson (Connie), Jimmy Lewter, Caprie Avery, and Adam Snyder (Michelle) along with grandchildren; Andrew, Jason, Candice, Brandon, Jessica, Lauren, Elizabeth, Luke , Paige, great-grandchildren; Hannah, Mara, Cainen, Llly, Jaxson, Sarah and Ethan . He is also survived by his sister, Jean Axman and brother Frank "Butch" Stevenson (Joyce).
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be Monday at 4:00 at Louisville Memorial Gardens, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 until time of service.
