Karen Wojciechowski

Karen J. Ackerman Wojciechowski, 60, wife of Steve Wojciechowski, died Thursday, May 10, 2018 after a long illness. Karen was born in Shively on January 24, 1958 the daughter of the late Julius & Alva Ann Phillips Ackerman.
She had been an assembler at General Electric, was a 1976 Butler High School graduate, and a member of Saint Helen's Catholic Church.
Besides her husband of 21 years she leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Jaime Pendleton (Eric), son, Jason Logue (Selina), sisters, Judy Hibbard, Brenda Kelty and Lisa Hartz, brothers, John Ackerman, Bill Ackerman and Gary Ackerman. Four grandchildren also survive.
A service celebrating Karen's life will be held 10:00 am Tuesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
