Joyce Ann Lowe

Joyce Ann Lowe, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024.  She was born on October 29, 1946.

Joyce retired from Jefferson County Public Schools where she worked as a teachers assistant and tutor.  She graduated from Ahrens High School.  Joyce was a member of Open Door Baptist Church and The TOPS Club.  Joyce had an amazing sense of humor and greatly enjoyed making people laugh, you never knew what she was going to say or do to bring a smile to your face.  She enjoyed bowling and playing BINGO.  Joyce was a huge Elvis Presley fan.  Most of all, Joyce loved and enjoyed her grandchildren, they were the most precious things in her life.  She was a great mother, grandmother, and friend and will surely be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding Joyce in death was her loving husband, Ernest C. Lowe.

Left behind to cherish the memories of Joyce's life are her sons, Mike Lowe, Brian Lowe (Heather), and Gary Lowe (Michelle); her six grandchildren, Taylor, Meagan, Shane (Precious), Madison, Kaylee, and Hunter; her great-grandson, Kayson; her siblings, Rosie Coburn and Rod; along with many extended family members and friends.

A funeral service to honor Joyce will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Noon, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Friends may call on the family on Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
