Joseph Tyler Iglehart

Joseph Tyler Iglehart, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2023. Jospeh was born on April 2, 1933, to the late W.L. Iglehart and Osetta Erwin.

Jospeh proudly served in the US ARMY for 33 years until retirement. Joseph had many hobbies he enjoyed such as gardening, feeding birds, camping, and relaxing on his front porch. Joseph was a life long member of Ashby Lane Baptist Church. Joseph was always a compassionate loving man,  he was an amazing father to his children, and a loving grandfather to his grandchildren. His one of a kind strength, sincere heart, and laugh will continue to live on forever through his loved ones.

Jospeh is proceeded in death by his children, Chick Iglehart and Debbie Mayberry; his brother Eusene IgleIhart; and his grandchildren, Jason Wayne Gartland, David Jospeh Money.

Left to keep Jospeh’s memories alive are his children, Douglas Iglehart (Kim), Djane Vittitow (Mark), Darlene Comax (Don), Deanna Gartland, Dodie Pugh (Tom), Dana Rollins (James); along with twenty grandchildren, and thrity-two great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Jospeh at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway. Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, December 26, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
