James A. Parman

James A. Parman, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024.  James was born on January 30, 1937, in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Elsi (Moore) Parman.  
James proudly served our country in the US Air Force honorably from 1954-1958.  He was a gun collector and gunsmith.  James enjoyed working on all kinds of things no matter how big or small the project. He collected stamps and coins throughout his life.  James enjoyed watching NASCAR and Westerns, but could often be found reading a book daily.  
James was preceded in death by his loving wife, June Parman.
He is survived by his sons, Gary Parman and Steve Parman; along with his grandchildren, Alicia, Catherine, Brett, and Blake.
Entombment will be on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery West, 4400 Dixie Highway.
