James Elias Sr

James "Jim" R. Elias, Sr., 75, loving husband to Sharon (Moore) Elias passed away on Monday May 28, 2018 at Jewish Hospital. He was born to the late George Borden and Ruth (Gilgore) Elias in Hindman, KY on November 2, 1942. He is also preceded in death by siblings, Patti Fugate, JoAnn Brighter, Pauline Greenwell, Helen Gross, Susie Stoll, George Elias, Jr., and John Elias.
Jim retired from International Harvester and was a member of UAW Local 402 He was a member of Keys Ferry Baptist Church, and an Air Force Veteran.
Besides his wife of 52 years, he leaves to cherish his memory their children, Patti Stich (Craig Chandler), James R. Elias, Jr. (Patti), grandchildren, Cortney Stich, Jack Elias, Regan Elias, Sawyer Elias, and Bowen Elias along with brothers Bill and Thomas (Brenda) Elias.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-7 at the funeral home.
