Jack LaRue

Jack Y. LaRue, 67, of Louisville was born to Stanley H. and Lillie M. LaRue on June 11, 1951. After a courageous battle with cancer, he passed away August 19, 2018 with family by his side.
He is a graduate of Pleasure Ridge Park High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Kentucky University.
Jack worked at Reynolds Metal Company which later became Alcoa from which he retired.
Jack was a kind generous person who loved animals and sports.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Jim Keathley, and nephew Douglas Keathley. He is survived by sisters Helen Keathley, Wanda Curley, Linda Ernspiker, and brother Don LaRue (Bernie) along with nieces and nephews Dean (Mikki), Brian, Chad, Nana (John), Tina (Aaron), Stephanie (Nathan), and Ashley and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-7 at the funeral home.
