Jack W. Chappell, Sr.

Jack W. Chappell, Sr., 81, passed away on January 30, 2023. He was born on February 2, 1941, to the late Maynard and Ellen Jane Weir Chappell. Jack retired from the Ford Motor Company. Jack enjoyed doing woodworking, hunting, fishing and camping. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friend. He was also an Honorable Kentucky Colonel. Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Rhodes Chappell, his siblings, Paul Chappell and Beverly Hilton.

Jack is survived by his children, Jack Chappell, Jr. (Cindy), Kimberly Lively, Shawn Clark, and Louie Cole (Cindy); his grandchildren, Ashlee, Amber, Alicia, Heather, Chris, Jennifer, Hailey, Shelbey and Mimi and his seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on February 7, 2023, at 6:00 pm, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
