Isiah Pasley, Jr.

Isiah Pasley, Jr., 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 16, 2023 . He was born on December 8, 1948, to Isiah Pasley, Sr. and Gertrude Roberts Pasley in Chattanooga, Tennessee .

Isiah‘s family moved to Louisville when he was a small child. He was a 1966 graduate of Central High School. After high school he proudly served in the US Marine Corp. Isiah was blessed with 52 years of marriage to the love of his life, Patricia, together they built a family on love and laughter. He retired after working for Rohm-Haas from 1981 - 2009. Isiah loved to fish and hunt.  He enjoyed baseball and was a faithful Cleveland Browns and Chicago Cubs fan. He loved to cook for his family, and his absolute favorite dessert was banana pudding. He was a man that enjoyed his coffee black, with none of that sissy stuff in it! Isiah was a good man, a loving husband and wonderful example for his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Preceding Isiah in passing was his father, Isiah Pasley, Sr.; and his grandson, Antwan Dewayne Pasley.

Left to cherish the memory of Isiah is wife of 52 years, Patricia Pasley; his mother, Gertrude Pasley; his four children, Adrienne Abrams (David), Alisha Pasley, Anndrea Pasley, and Isiah Pasley III (Heather); his eight siblings, Henry Pasley (Brenda), Bessann Johnson, Deborah Womack, Eloise Johnson (Robert), Annie Wells (Rufus), Anthony Cortez Pasley (Carolyn), Irvin Eugene Pasley (Jessica) and Joseph William Pasley (Melissa); his seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn Malyse Pasley, Cynara Chumani Pasley, Zuri Wynter Pasley, Emery Anne Pasley, Cortez Aubrey Pasley, Bastion Oberon Pasley and Aiyana Jade Rice; along with a host of extended family members and friends.

A funeral service to honor Isiah’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Louisville Memotial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway, with military rites at the end of the service. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
