Gerald N. Walker, II

Jerry N. Walker II, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, peacefully in his sleep.

He was a retired CSR in the airline industry for 42 years.  His smile welcomed all and lit up a room.  Jerry's laughter was contagious, he treated all people the same.  A heart that was loving, giving, tender and bruised.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Jane Denning; his mother, Barbary Ann Denning; his father, Gerald N. Walker; his father-in-law, Sidney Campbell; and his brother-in-law, Eric Campbell.

Jerry is survived by his one true love of 46 years, married 37, Jo Myra Walker; his nephew, Brandon Campbell (Lexie) that gave him a light in his soul; his mother-in-law, Billie Campbell; his in laws, Eric Soard (Laura), Sid Campbell (Lisa) and Marsha Elliott; his 8 nieces and nephews, Hannah Soard (Jackman), Jake Soard (Alyssa), Lucas Soard, Trey Campbell (Annie), Sumer Elliott, Jackson Elliott, Maddie Robbins (Tyler); his great-nieces, Courtney, Eleanor, Delilah and baby Soard; special family members, Andrew Ledford (Paige), Phoebe, Chris Ledford (Susan) and Brady Ledford; lifelong friends, Mike Crawley (Katie), Mike Humphreys (Jackie); the girls, McKenzie, Mallory and Michael Ann.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the B.A. Colonial (old Colonial Gardens) 818 W. Kenwood Drive Louisville, Kentucky 40214. Visitation will be 2PM - 7PM, with a memorial service at 4:30PM.
