Geneva L. Kinser

Geneva Lloyd Kinser, 88, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2023, while holding her daughter's hands.  Geneva was born on September 21, 1934, to the late Arthur L. and Annabelle (Rigsby) Pigg, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Geneva was a member of Corydon Church of Christ and formerly a member of Taylor Boulevard Church of Christ.  She loved gardening, sewing, and traveling, visiting many places all over the world.  Geneva loved her family and grandchildren.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Roy E. Kinser; her son, Kenneth E. Kinser; and her granddaughter, Cathy Melissa Kinser.

Geneva is survived by her children, Terry L. Kinser, Donna K. Kinser (Harold), and Cathy L. Calvert (Fred); her grandchildren, Christopher Kinser, Sonja Parks, Derek Calvert, Daniel Kinser and Michelle Oddo; her 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway, with Terry Kinser officiating.  Friends may call on the family on Wednesday from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
