Frances Burke

Frances Therese Burke, 80, wife to the late Dallas Burke, passed away Saturday May 27, 2017.
She was born to James and Julia (Beaven) Mudd in Marion County, Kentucky.
Frances left home at an early age to pursue God after being called to a vocation as Ursuline Sister Faustina in Owensboro at Mount St. Joseph. She later became a teacher for JCPS. Frances received her true vocation from God as a devoted wife to Dallas and mother to her children. She attended St. Rita Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Julie (Jason), Michael, and David (Monica) and 2 beloved grandchildren, Alex and Bo. She had 11 brothers and sisters.
Frances was a devoted servant of God her whole life. She started her day thanking God for all his gifts, blessings, joys, and sufferings and offered all her prayers and works through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Intercession of all the Angels and Saints to God, our Father for His greater glory.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Highway. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.
