Eunice Carter

Eunice E. Carter, 88, wife to the late Ruel Carter, passed away at home with family beside her, on Saturday May 9, 2020.  She was born to the late Forest and Loberta (Ralph) Mattingly in Whitesville, Kentucky on January 21, 1932.  She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Green.

Eunice was homemaker, she loved her church Lighthouse Church, and she gave her life to Jesus in the ‘70s.  She enjoyed doing crafts with sister Lula Mae and teaching her granddaughter how to decorate cakes, make candy and gingerbread houses.

She loved her grandchildren dearly and cherished her great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Garrett (Jimmy, who she loved like a son) Jeffrey Carter (Bonnie) and her beloved sister Lula Mae Warren.  She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Matthew Green, Eric Green, David Garrett, Jennifer Denny (Wesley), Jeremy Garrett, Lydia Carter, Alyssa Carter and her great-great children, Hannah Lynn, Emily Marie, and Jacob Edward Denny.

Services and burial will be private.
