Elfriede Carter

Elfriede Carter (Hacker), 81, loving wife to the late William C. Carter, Jr., passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday June 13, 2017. She was to Wilhiem Gottfried and Maria Hacker (Steinmetts) in Nurenburg, Germany. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Werner Hacker.
She retired as a manager from PNC Bank.
She is survived by children, William "Buddy" Carter, Jr. (Vicky) and Christina "Christy" Carter (Erik Angelini) along with 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law Crystal Hacker.
Per her wishes, as is the German tradition, Elfriede was cremated without services. A wake will be held on a later date.
