Duane Sears Jr.

Duane Thomas Sears Jr., loving husband of Sharon, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2021 at Hosparus Health in Louisville.  He was born on September 24, 1946 in Litchfield, Ohio, the son of the late Duane Sears Sr. and Mabel Mills.  Duane loved poker and even played on the Louisville Poker Tour.  He enjoyed camping, fishing and most of all, writing poetry.  Besides his wife, Sharon, he is survived by his sons, Adam and Jason Sears, daughters, Megan Jerell and Bobbie Lee,  and grandchildren, Christopher, Lyla, Rhea, Dominique and Jacob.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Ky, 40216.  A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, at the funeral home.
