Donald Lee Steinmacher, Jr.

Donald Lee Steinmacher, Jr., 55, of Westpoint, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023.  He was born on February 25, 1968, to Donald and Marilyn Steinmacher, Sr., in San Diego, California.

Don graduated from Elizabethtown High School.  He worked on the safety team at Republic Conduit for many years.  Don was always tinkering with something and was known to be able to make a variety of things and could fix absolutely anything.  He was most definitely a Redneck Engineer.  Don enjoyed widdling, motorcycles, guns and fishing.  Don was a simple man and enjoyed spending time with his family.  His grandson, Atticus, was his best friend; they had many great times with one another.  Don will be missed by all that knew him.

Preceding Donald in death was his father, Donald Lee Steinmacher, Sr.; and his son, infant David Steinmacher.

Left to cherish the memories of Don's life is his mother, Marilyn Steinmacher; his wife, Michelle Steinmacher; his sons, Austin Steinmacher (Frankie Steinmacher) and Joseph "JR" Reed; his brother, Rob Steinmacher; and his best friend and grandson, Atticus Steinmacher.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6PM on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Friends may call on the family from 4PM until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
