Dale Tobin

Dale Wayne Tobin was born May 14, 1941 in Cave City, KY to the late Fletcher Tobin and Edna Sublett. He was raised and nurtured by Frank and Berdie Lou Sublett (his late grandparents).
Dale was married to the late Gladys Marie Tobin until her passing February 26, 2015.
Dale was a member of Teamsters Local 89 and had a great passion for driving big rig trucks and he hauled trucks for Ford until he retired.
He had a straight-forward demeanor and often spoke his mind. He loved his faithful companions, "Smokey and Goldie" (cats) who kept him company for many years.
He leaves to mourn his passing four children, Dale and Jerry Fisher, Debra Tobin, and Diane Allen. Also, six step-children Beverly Warren, Russell Carter (Sandra), Paul Carter (Patricia), Joey, Danny and Randell (Venita) Carter. And a host of several grandchildren and a host of family and friends. A special uncle, friend, and confidant Henry Lewis Sublett (Kim) will forever cherish his memory.
A celebration of Dale's life will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
