Corene Basham

Corene Sue Basham, 67, passed away, surrounded by her family on Monday December 30, 2019 at Norton Hosparus.  She was born to the late Troy and Lorene (Nash) Hack in Leitchfield, Kentucky on December 27, 1952.

She is also preceded in death by siblings, Mary Kalbfleisch, Harrell, Johnny, and Leonard Hack.

Sue was a homemaker, and caregiver.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed being with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Melissa Cotton (Bruce), Crystal Farris, Pamela Durham, Samantha Carnahan, and Charles Basham III along with her grandchildren, Jacky Basham, Jessica Basham, Hailey Farris, Kadin Farris, Nolan Lehmenkuler, Michael Phelps, Jr., Kaitlyn Cummings-Basham, Aiden Carnahan,  Adelynn Carnahan , great-grandchildren Jacky, Jr, Kameron, and Jonah Basham.

She will also be missed by her sister Barbara Keller and brother James Hack.

A prayer service will be held Thursday at 12:30 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service.
