Claude Francis Jones, Sr.

Claude Francis Jones, Sr., 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on April 7, 2024.  He was born on March 21, 1943, to the late Gayle and Mary (Bates) Jones, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Claude retired from General Electric after many years.  He loved the outdoors; enjoying hunting, fishing and camping.  Claude was active in the Boy Scouts, always wanting to pass along his knowledge.  When at home you could find him watching an old western movie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mable Capito.

Surviving Claude is his loving wife, Charolette Jones; his sons, Claude Jones, Jr. (Michelle), and Shawn Jones; his brother, Robert Jones (Rosie); and his grandson, Tyler Jones.

A funeral service to honor Claude will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
