He was a US Navy veteran of Korea and Vietnam era, and a member of the VFW and American Legion Post 81. Survivors: his wife, Mary Miller; children, the former Nancy Miller, Charles Jr., and Roy Miller; five grandchildren; sisters, Kay Hedgespeth and Ossie Marcum.
