Bobby Gambrell, Jr.

Bobby Gambrell, Jr., 83, husband to Margaret Lynn (Heavrin) Gambrell, passed away on Monday October 29, 2018 at Baptist Health. He was born in Manchester, Kentucky to the late Robert and Sophie (Reed) Gambrell. He is also preceded in death by siblings, William “Tubby” Gambrell, Joyce Berstrom, Lucille Hyde, Virginia Hyde, Gladys Smith and Kenny Gambrell. Bobby retired from International Harvester and grew up attending 9th & O Baptist Church. Besides his wife of 65 years he is survived by children, Bruce Gambrell (Linda), Ron Gambrell (Barbara), Kathy Patterson (Mike), Phillip Gambrell (Debbie) along with 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers Carl “Rudy” Gambrell (Barbara) and Franklin Gambrell (Nellie). Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.
