Betty A. Kennedy, 87, passed away on December 4, 2022. She was born on March 10, 1935, to the late Jesse Lee and Helen Cissell Fabel. Betty was a waitress for many years, a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church where she was active in their Senior Club. Betty enjoyed life, she like to go on vacations with her family and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Burkhardt and her brother Raymond Fabel.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa “Ginger” Cissell; siblings, Wanda Holloway, Brenda Harris, Laura Corbett and James Fabel; her three grandchildren, Brandon Cissell (Stephanie), Desiree Craven (Kevin) and Clinton Burkhardt (April); her six great grandchildren, Kyle, Zachary, Summer, Austin, Logan and Kylie;  and two great-great grandchildren, Ella and Emmersyn.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
