Alta Shepherd

Shepherd, Alta Marie SHEPHERD, ALTA MARIE, 85, of Louisville, passed away Friday, October 27, 2006 at Baptist Hospital Northeast. She was the former Alta Poynter, a native of Taylor Co., and a member of Carlisle Ave. Baptist Church. Alta is survived by two sons, Jerry M. Shepherd (Maria) and Bryan Keith Shepherd; one brother, Danny Poynter; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd. Burial: Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. on Monday and after 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
