Albert Joseph Castle, Jr., 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. He was born on October 13, 1932, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Ida (Burkhead) Castle; his parents; his sister; and one grandson.

He is survived by his daughters, Sherry King and Merry “Kathy” Peak (Jim), of Louisville, Kentucky; his sisters, Judy Masters of New Castle, Kentucky and Doris Layman of Katy, Texas; his 4 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway, with interment to follow in the cemetery.  Friends may call on the family on Tuesday from 2PM until 7PM, or Wednesday from 10AM until service time.
