Gladys Jones

Gladys J. Jones, 70, loving wife to Kenneth W. Jones, passed away on Wednesday November 7, 2018 at Norton Hosparus.  She was born to the late Elbie and Mabel (Isbell) Payton in Grayson County, Kentucky.

Gladys attended New Testament Christian Church and was a caretaker for the Sisters of Charity.

Besides her husband of 20 years, she is survived by children, Donata Gibson (Ben), Chris Smith (Amy), step-children, Wayne Jones (Amy) and Stacey Alexander along with grandchildren, Seth Smith, Destin Smith, Bengi Gibson, 2 great-grandchildren with several nieces and nephews.  She will also be missed by siblings, Ruby Vickery, Warren Payton (Martha), and Sue Bell.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 5:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 until time of service.
