Peggy L. Vernon, 71, passed away at home on Monday September 25, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry P. Vernon and daughter, Kim Shepard.
She was the former Peggy L. Sucher and was a native of Barberton, Ohio.
She is survived by her son Mike (Debbie) Vernon, sister Jackie Stump, grandchildren; Chris Vernon, Addison, Dalton, and Emma Shepard along with brother-in-law Jim Vernon (Nancy),several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-7 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Peggy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville, P. O. Box 35425, Louisville, KY 40232-9892.
