Michael "Steve" Hinton

Michael Steven “Steve” Hinton, 61, passed away at home, surrounded by family, on Wednesday November 4, 2020.  He was born to the late Thomas “Pete” G., Sr., and Gladys “Marie” (Roberts) Hinton in Louisville on April 8, 1959.

Steve semi-retired from Philip Morris and then became self-employed in the home improvement business.  He was a Catholic by faith, he loved frisbee golf, fishing, bowling and was an avid UK fan.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Kelly Hinton-Griffie (Steve Griffie), Kimberly Thompson, along with grandchildren, Mikey and Mikayla Hinton and siblings, Thomas “Gil” Hinton, Jr. and Sheryl Denham (David).

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 6:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 pm until time of service.

Due to Covid restrictions masks are required during visitation and service and social distancing is expected.
