Dorothy "Lucy" Young

Dorothy Louise “Lucy” Young, 91, wife to the late Eugene H. Young, passed away on Thursday April 15, 2021 at Baptist Health.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Bunch, son, Timothy Hugh Young and two brothers, David and Leroy Blair.

Lucy was a member of the Briargate Presbyterian Church, she loved to travel and was an avid fan of  all things “I Love Lucy”.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Hamon (Frank), grandchildren, Kris Hamon, Anya Hamon, Lizzy Young, Destiny Young and a brother Wayne Spicer (Rhonda).

Funeral service will be held Monday at 3:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 am until time of service.

Due to COVID restrictions, masks are to be worn at all times and social distancing is expected.
