Dennis “Mike” Michael Higdon, 62, of Marengo, Indiana, passed away on May 21, 2022.  He was born on April 20, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Henry and Charlotte (Miller) Higdon.

Mike enjoyed CB radios and spent his time fixing anything he could find.  He worked for about 35 years in building maintenance.  He enjoyed 33 years of marriage to his wife, Tina Higdon and spending time with his family and friends.

Preceding Mike in death were his parents and his daughter, Rebecca Denise Higdon.

Left to cherish Mike’s memory is his loving wife, Tina; his children, Michael Higdon (Wendy), Amy Fisher (Travis), and step-son Michael Stephens; his 2 sisters, Debbie Rowe (Herb) and Terri Wilson (Doug); his brother, Steve Higdon; his grandson, Tyler Fisher; and his close and lifelong friend, Gregory Stephens.  He also had numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his cat Cooper.

Special thanks to his brother- and sister-in-law, Danny and Cheryl Hehl, for being there and helping out any way they could.  He loved you guys.

Funeral services for Mike will be held on May 28, 2022, at 2PM at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West, 4400 Dixie Highway, visitation will be from 11AM until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mike’s honor to the Brown Cancer, 529 S. Jackson St. Louisville, KY 40202 or to Shirley’s Way, 10966 Dixie Highway Louisville, Ky 40272.
