Charles 'Chuck" Diehl

Charles “Chuck” R. Diehl, 88, loving husband to Charlene (Tracey) Diehl passed way at home with his family, on Friday August 21, 2020.  He was born to the late Joseph and Edna (Swearinger) Diehl in Peoria, Illinois on November 28, 1931.  He is also preceded in death by 6 siblings.

Chuck was a salesman for many years, he loved race cars and everything about them.  He was an Army veteran and was a beloved family man with a big heart.

Besides his wife of nearly 70 years he is survived by children, Charles “Joe” Diehl (Sharron), Robert “Jay” Diehl (Lydia), and Cathy Powell along with 5 grandchildren and sisters, Lillian Mulvaney and Margaret Winters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Thursday from 10 am until time of service.

Due to Covid restrictions, everyone is required to wear masks during visitation and services.
